Hello! Now you know a little about my style, let me tell you what I can offer YOU!

Speaking

I am happy to speak to groups during evenings or afternoons, usually for 1½ - 2 hours. I will give an art talk and bring along a selection of my art in the above media, with an introduction of my earlier art years to the present time, and talk about my techniques and materials. I have a good selection of greetings cards and prints which show some of the work that I am not able to bring and I can offer these items for sale if permitted. My fee varies depending on session time and locality; please contact me for further information.

Art workshops: Colour Design and Imagination

With artists participating in these workshops I begin with showing some of my work and describing techniques etc. (about 15 minutes). I encourage artists to use strong colours, their imagination and a certain amount of creativity. I will show a selection of designs which have been developed from a single line on the paper (i.e. a curve, an angle, a circle, a grid, a triangle and a floral design) and some examples of everyday objects, which can be enhanced by imaginative patterns and colour. This workshop is a chance for light-hearted fun and free expression! Fees, again according to session time and locality. I can also bring greetings cards and prints for purchase if permitted.

Collage Workshops

I am able to take a collage workshop creating simple pictures and abstracts in the time allowed. For this I will provide fabrics, coloured tissue paper, foils, cut designs, ribbons, braids, tapes, and many choices of decorative papers. Also bits and bobs for the artists’ use including glue, brushes, pens and scissors and other necessary pieces of equipment to create a collage.  I will show a few of my collage works and explain the techniques as well as helping the students during the session. This is a fun and relaxing afternoon or evening. Fees and time scale as above.
